The University of Calicut mandates Audit Courses for Undergraduate (UG) students admitted from 2019 onwards. These non-credit courses are designed to enhance knowledge and skills without affecting SGPA or CGPA. Each student must complete one Audit Course per semester for the first four semesters.
No classroom study is required.
Students receive only a Pass (Grade P).
Exams are conducted using a University-provided question bank.
Optional credit can be earned via SWAYAM, MOOC, etc.
Colleges must submit the list of passed students before the fifth-semester exam.
These courses ensure holistic learning while providing flexibility in completion.
