Sprawling over a vast beautiful campus, Ansar Women’s College boasts of a rich cultural heritage. This institution has been educating and nurturing competent and morally upright young women for the past two decades. Founded by Ansari Charitable Trust in the year 2002, it shares a lineage with many sister institutions working for the progress and upliftment of minorities like Ansar English School, Ansar Training College for Women, Ansar Arts College Edappal and many more.
An old step taken in hopeful anticipation changed the destiny of this region. Abul Jalal Maulavi and Majeed Sahib had struggled and strove to set this landmark endeavour in history. It helped the muslim community of this backward region gain a foothold in the educational scenario. They firmly believed that academic education alone is not enough for the success in this world, hence imparting value education for the new generation.
Like the name “Ansari”, the Ansari Charitable Trust lends a ‘helping hand’ to those in need, be it through education or health care. At a time when knowledge and health had been turned into mere merchandise, Ansar upholds its commitment making it accessible to all. Ansar has grown into a giant tree, giving shade and shelter, protecting and promoting a dozen institutions.
The Ansari Charitable Trust can relate an elaborate saga of transforming dreams to reality. Dedicated minds, faith in the supremacy of Islamic values, concentrated efforts of like-minded people- all these had contributed to this exemplary achievement of the Trust.
