Wings of Fire

The PG Department of Physics, Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, organized a special tribute event titled “Wings of Fire – The Missile Man of India”, dedicated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the People’s President and visionary scientist.

The program featured an inspiring talk by Mubashira P (S1 MSc Physics), who highlighted Dr. Kalam’s remarkable journey, his invaluable contributions to science and technology, and his eternal role as a motivator for students and youth across India.

Quoting Dr. Kalam’s famous words, “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping, it is something that does not let you sleep,” the session motivated students to pursue their goals with passion and perseverance.

The event was held on 29th July 2025, at 2 PM in the Conference Hall, as part of the 2025–26 Year of Innovation initiatives.
