Art Therapy and Breathing Exercises for Elderly Wellbeing

This session aimed to enhance the emotional and physical wellbeing of elderly individuals through art therapy and breathing exercises. Postgraduate psychology students facilitated simple art activities like colouring, sketching, and painting to encourage self-expression and positive emotions. Participants also practiced breathing exercises and mindfulness to reduce stress and improve emotional regulation. The program fostered a supportive environment, promoting relaxation, social engagement, and a sense of belonging.
