COMMUNITY EXTENSION

The PG Department of Psychology conducted a community extension activity on 10th July 2025 at AMLP School, Kokkur, titled “Eco-Friendly Attitude Through Behavioural Modification – Special Focus on Hygiene.”

Led by 20 M.Sc. Clinical Psychology students, the programme aimed to promote eco-consciousness and hygiene among students of Classes 2 to 4 through interactive sessions, including a presentation, animated video, action song, and a “Trash to Treasure” workshop. A habit tracker was introduced to reinforce daily eco-friendly behaviors through positive reinforcement.

The session concluded with an environmental pledge by the children. The event successfully integrated psychological principles with social responsibility, encouraging sustainable habits in an engaging manner.
