MEDIA MEET 2025

The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication is set to host a two-day event on February 11th and 12th, 2025, featuring dynamic inaugurations and discussions on the evolving media landscape. The event will begin with a Studio Inauguration and Media Meet, officially opened by Favour Francis, Founder of OBW Educator and renowned Brand Consultant. The key session, "Power Representation and Technology: The Media Paradigm Shift", will delve into the impact of technology on the media industry. On Day 2, Najeeb, the visionary behind the Adujeevitham film project, will inaugurate the 9th Edition of the Vanguard Film Festival, showcasing films that reflect cinema's ability to shape cultural and social narratives. The festival will include film screenings on the final day, offering attendees a chance to experience compelling storytelling and creative works from emerging filmmakers
