 The Energy Conservation Cell, in collaboration with the Energy Management Centre (EMC) and the PG Department of Physics, organized a home survey and leaflet distribution drive in Kadavallur Grama Panchayat to promote energy conservation. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about energy efficiency, provide practical energy-saving tips, and encourage community participation in sustainable practices. A team of UG and PG students conducted household visits with a 17-point questionnaire to assess energy consumption patterns and distributed informational leaflets from EMC highlighting key conservation techniques. Volunteers engaged with residents, explaining energy-saving methods and addressing their queries. Additionally, a short feedback form was collected to evaluate the campaign’s effectiveness. The initiative successfully educated the community on the importance of energy conservation, empowering residents to adopt sustainable habits for a greener future.
