The Department of Psychology conducted a bridge course titled “The Mind Odyssey” for first-year B.Sc. Psychology students to introduce them to the foundational concepts of the subject. The session was led by Ms. Rysfana Rahiman, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, who provided insights into the basic ideas, scope, and relevance of psychology as a scientific discipline. Key topics such as the origins of psychology, major schools of thought, and research methods were briefly discussed, offering students a clear overview of what to expect in their academic journey. The session served as an engaging and informative start, helping students transition smoothly into the field of psychology.
