The Intellectual Property Rights Cell (IPR Cell) of Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu was established in the year 2019-20.
The main objectives of the cell :
· To create an awareness about IPR among faculty members and students of the college.
· To create awareness on the importance of creativity and innovation which leads to patents.
· To engage in / conduct IP clinics/ workshops/ seminars.
· To encourage faculty members and scholars to go for patentable works
In Campus Events
A Webinar on Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights was conducted on 28th September 2021 at 10.00 am in Zoom. Ms. Athira P S, Director, Centre for IPR and Ediitor-in-chief, NUALS, IP Law Review and Asst. Professor, NUALS was the resource person. It was a joint venture of IQAC, Ansar Women’s College, Little Flower College, Guruvayoor which was sponsored under NAAC PARAMARSH Scheme.
The Postgraduate Department of English in collaboration with IPR Cell, Ansar Women’s College, organized a seminar on the topic “Intellectual Property Rights”. It was conducted on 4th November, 2019 at 11:00 am in the Auditorium of Ansar English School.
II. SICUREZZA 2K19- Seminar in connection with International Computer Security Day
Post Graduation Department of Computer Science in collaboration with IPR Cell organized a seminar in connection with International Computer Security day and Intellectual Property Rights on 28th November 2019.
III. Two Day National Seminar cum Workshop on “Intellectual property rights in global economy: challenges in balancing economic growth and public welfare”
PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies in collaboration with IPR Cell organized a two day National Seminar cum Workshop on the topic “Intellectual Property Rights in Global Economy: Challenges in Balancing Economic Growth and Public Welfare” sponsored by Little Flower College, Guruvayoor under UGC NAAC PARAMARSH scheme on 23rd & 24th January 2020.
