Inauguration of Centre for Indian Knowledge System

Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, proudly inaugurated the Centre for Indian Knowledge System on 23rd July 2025 at 10:00 AM in the college auditorium. The event marked a significant step towards embracing and promoting the rich cultural and intellectual heritage of India through academic and artistic engagement.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by the organizing committee, followed by the formal inauguration of the Centre. The highlight of the event was an expert talk on "Influence of Arts in Society", delivered by Dr. RLV Ramakrishnan, Assistant Professor, Department of Dance, Kerala Kalamandalam, Cheruthuruthi.

Dr. Ramakrishnan, a renowned scholar and artist, enlightened the audience with his deep insights into how traditional and contemporary art forms play a transformative role in society. He emphasized the importance of integrating arts and culture into education and everyday life to foster holistic growth and social awareness. His interactive and engaging style captivated the audience, especially the student community, and encouraged active participation.

The session witnessed the presence of faculty members, students, and invited guests who appreciated the timely initiative by the college to establish a dedicated centre for Indian Knowledge Systems. The dignitaries on the dais shared their thoughts and congratulated the team for this visionary step.
