As part of the World Mental Health Day 2025 celebrations, the PG Department of Psychology, Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, organized a wellness workshop titled “Moments for Refresh” on October 10, 2025, exclusively for the non-teaching staff. The session aimed to promote relaxation, stress management, and emotional well-being among support staff. It was led by Ms. Vinitha E. V., Consultant Psychologist and Hypnotherapist, who conducted interactive activities encouraging self-reflection and positive engagement. The workshop provided a rejuvenating experience and reinforced the college’s commitment to holistic well-being and inclusivity.

The Post graduate department of psychology of Ansar women’s College conducted a live talk webinar on the topic beyond the disabilities as a part of international day for the disabled people around the world. The chief guest for the talk was Mr. Haroon Kareem, a visually- impaired boy who is the first student to write the annual SSLC examinations using a computer system has been inspiring many students to push their limits. PG Department of Psychology of Ansar Women’s College and Research Promotion Cell    jointly    organized    a    National    Webinar    on    the    topic   ‘BasicTenetsofEducational Research’. The webinar was   conducted   on 08   December   2020   by Dr.SameerBabu, Assistant Professor of Department of Education, and Kerala University

PG Department of Psychology had conducted a webinar on topic “Purviews and Profundities of Psychology: Passionista Talks” The webinar was held on 24th November 2020 commenced by morning 10 am in Google Meet. The webinar was conducted for all the students of Department of Psychology in three different sessions. The first session was on the topic “Recharge your positivity bank: some art interventions”. The resource person for the session was Ms. Aysha Rahman K P, PhD scholar, Bharathiar University

Department of Psychology conducted a webinar on the topic “Mapping Mental Health in Digital Backdrop: A Paradigm Shift”. The webinar held on 20^th November 2020 commenced by 2Pm on Google meet. The session was handled by Dr.Milu Maria  Anto, Assistant  Professor  and  Head  of  the  Department  of   Psychology, Prajyoti Niketan College Pudukadu

Department of Psychology had conducted a bridge course webinar on the topic “Dive   deep into   Psychology”. She   was   welcomed   by   Ms. Shahanaz.M.H-HOD of the Department.The webinar was held on 16th November 2020. The session was handled by Ms. Aishwarya V R, Assistant Professor in Christ Deemed to be University Bangalore.
