CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL

Ansar Women’s College has a very active Career Guidance and Placement cell which is always been in the forefront in motivating, informing and inspiring the students to achieve their goals. Also it creates awareness among the graduates and Post graduates on Career planning. It develops interest in one's career, creative thinking and innovative attitude among the student community. Its ultimate purpose is to make every student self-reliant. The cell motivates all students to create E- mail address, so that they can keep themselves updated on opportunities.

OBJECTIVES:

The Career Guidance Cell has been catering to the needs of students at AWC with the following prime objectives:

To motivate, train ad guide students for higher studies and competitive exams.
To effectively make use of AWC Alumni Network, who have gone abroad for higher studies, to periodically motivate and guide our students.
To create collaborations with institutes and training centers for organizing higher study awareness and career opportunities to guide the aspirants further.
To organize guest lectures on profile building and effective career planning.
To organize job fairs and peer coaching department wise.
To assist students to send online applications for jobs in various sectors.

"PATHWAY TO SUCCESS"

“Pathway to Success” was a career guidance program conducted in Ansar Women’s college on 16th august 2021 .The program organized by the Career Guidance & Placement Cell of Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu under the guidance of CIGI(Centre for information and Guidance India). The guest of honour for this event was Ramla Beevi C K Chief Career Counsellor, CIGI. The program was commenced with a warm welcome speech addressed by Ms. Fayisa P H , Co-ordinator of career guidance and placement cell followed by the presidential address by principal Ms. Faritha J.

“Plan your Success, Create your Future”

The programme “Plan your Success, Create your Future” was held on 24th March 2021 at Ansar Women’s College Auditorium. This programme was organized by the career guidance placement cell and was half day long. In the programme 329 students took past. The programme began at 09:30 am.
