“ORIGAMI MAKINGCOMPETITION”
Date: 30thJUNE 2021
The program “Origami making competition” was conducted by ED club on30th June 2021.Ms. Vigitha C V Assistant professor in commerce was the coordinator of the program. Many students participated in the program. All the origamis were creative. It was a visual treat. The winners of the competition are:1st prize: HisanaThasneem(S2 BSC CS),2nd prize: FathimathulHasna (S2 BA ENGLISH),3rd prize: Afiya (S2 B.COM C A) . The competition helped students to portray their craft skills. The competition was a great success as the students participated and made the celebration delightful. The student’s participation and the encouragement from their teachers were quite inspiring.
The programme “WEBINAR ON TALK WITH AN ENTREPRENEUR” was conducted by ED Club on 2nd December 2020.In this programme all first-year students took part.The programme conducted in Zoom platform. Ms.Vigitha C V(Coordinator ) played a video about ED club. It includes various programmes conducted in the college during the past years. One day online workshop on Rural entrepreneurship Development in collaboration with Mahatma Gandhi National Council of rural education was held on 14th November 2020.All the first year,second year and Third year BBA students were attended the program.The programme started at 10. AM in online platform that is in google meet.It was a two-hour programme. Ms.Aysha Nitha, B. Com S3 BBA, welcomed the gathering. Ms. Faritha J facilitated the gathering and wished Children’s day and explained the soul significance behind the children's day celebration.Dr. Dipu Varghese, MGNCRE Resource person gave a brief introduction about the program structure, RED action plan, possibilities to the participants.

The program“A Gift to The Teacher” was conducted by ED club on 5th September 2020.This programme was conducted as a part of Teachers day celebration. Ms. Vigitha C V Assistant professor in commerce was the coordinator of the program.Many students participated in the program.The programme was conducted online. The Boucher and notices were passed to the students through class teachers. After that interested students directly send their videos to the ED Club coordinator before 10th September 2020.
From the participated students three students wereselected as winners.First, second and third prizes were won by Jilsha of B.sc CS,Fidda M M of S5 B. Com Finance and Nahala Abdul Nazar of S3 Bsc. Psychology respectively.
The inauguration of the ED club was held on 5.11.2019 at Ansar Women’s College auditorium. Shri V B Unnikrishnan(Asst. District Industries Officer) inaugurated the function and released the logo. Ms. Hanshila MP, Resource person, District Suchitwa Mission felicitated the function. One Day Workshop on Cloth Bag Making was conducted on the same day. All the first and second-year PG and UG students, as well as ED club members, participated.
One Day Seminar on How to Become an Entrepreneur was conducted by ED Club on 28th January 2020 in the Conference Hall. Mr. Sajeev T P, owner of Things Products was the chief guest. All the second-year UG students of the ED Club participated.
One Day Workshop on Paper Pen Making was conducted by ED Club on 17 th January 2020 in the Conference Hall.
