The music club of AnsarWomens College provides an inclusive platform to the music lovers to dip in the musical ocean and also to participate and showcase their musical skill . Sarangi encourage the students talent in music instrument as well as vocal.club members participate in all the cultural activities of the college.

"MALAYALAM LIGHT MUSIC COMPETITION IN CONNECTION WITH WORLD MUSIC DAY"
Music club SARANGI of Ansar Women’s College Perumpilavu decided to conduct an online Malayalam light music competition among the college students on 21st June 2021 as a part of world music day .Music has become an important language of emotions that makes everyone flow with different feelings . It also has the capacity to imitate emotions. World music day is also known as ‘Make Music Day’ and F tete la Musique in French,music is difficult to describe in words. June 21st is internationally celebrated as World Music Day to encourage musicians. The theme of world music day 2021 is Music at the intersections . This event is also known as ‘Make Music Day ‘. It lays stress on the importance of nurturing people’s affection for music and sharing music with all without any restriction.
Music Club published the brochure of the competition on 16th June 2021 and circulated the brochure through WhatsApp groups . The entries should specify the details like name , department and semester of the participant and the submission of entries be made before 18th June 2021. Total 8 students participated in the competition. Entries were evaluated after the submission period ended. We declared the result of the competition on June 21st 2021 and the winner’s performance held on Zoom platform. HasnaHabeeb S2 BA MC won first prize , Shifa PY S2BSc Maths won second prize and DrishyaUnni E S2 MA English, Viji VM S2 BCOM Finance won third prize in the competition.
