NPTEL AWARENESS WORH SHOP

SWAYAM NPTEL College Local Chapter in association with PG Department of Computer Science Organized NPTEL awarness workshop.

The Swayam NPTEL College Local Chapter (LC Id:3737) in association with PG Department of Computer Science conducted an Awareness Workshop for all PG students and faculty members on 22nd July 2022 at our College Auditorium. The Resource person of the programme was Ms. Shaheena K V, Assistant Professor in PG Department of Computer Science.

NATIONAL SADBHAVANA DIVAS

PG Department of computer science organized sadbhavana chain on NATIONAL SADBHAVANA DIVAS on 19th August 2022.

The department observed the Sadbhavana Diwas with great enthusiasm. Sadbhavana awareness was done in various languages by faculties and students. The students made a Sadbhavana Message chain in the campus.

NATIONAL ONLINE LEARNING DAY

PG Department of Computer Science in collaboration with Cyber club observed NATIONAL ONLINE LEARNING DAY organized an awarness session on   "Online Learning Platform" on 15th September 2022 Central Lab  at 10.am

SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

As part of improving the skill of our students, we the PG Department of Computer Science, Ansar Women’s College Perumpilavu have conducted a skill development programme on Google slide presentation for our BCA students on 10/9/2022.Google slides is an online presentation app that lets you create and format presentations and work with other people.

Gandhi Quiz -2022

“How well do you know Gandhi”

To mark the 153th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, PG Department of Computer Science, Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu held an Online Quiz to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings on 5th October 2020. An online questionnaire which included Gandhi’s Life and messages prepared in google form and distributed among students of the college. Ms Nasheeda T M, Asst Professor,  Department of Computer Science was the coordinator of the programme. 229 students participated with enthusiasm and the final round was conducted on 6/10/2022 in offline mode

The department organized a Bridge Course from 19th October 2022 for the first semester UG and PG students. Mr. Shiju Aravindakshan (Assistant Professor, Electronics andCommunication Department, Gov. Engineering College Thrissur) presented the topic “Computational Mathematics”.Ms. Prapitha Gopi K Assistant Professor of the Department handled the topic “Introduction to Programming”.  Ms. Sainaba Soonam P K, HOD of the department presented the topic “Programme Overview.

INTERNATIONAL WEBINAR

With the ever encouraging and support of whole team of the Department conducted an International Webinar on “industry Standard Web app: Design to Deploy” on 5th November, Saturday 2022. The session was handled by the resource person Dr. Siju Mohanan, Department of IT, University of Technology and Applied Sciences, Muscat, Oman.

E-WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

The Department has implemented a successful E-Waste management program, which includes awareness campaigns, collection events, and collaborations with local recyclers. The program has significantly increased E-Waste recycling rates on campus, reduced landfill waste, and raised awareness among students and staff about the importance of responsible E-Waste management.

On the 7th of February 2023, the Department Association was inaugurated by Dr. Benson C C, Assistant Professor and HOD of Computer Application, Mar Dionysius College Pazhanji. He handled the session on “The role of artificial intelligence in health care”.
