Established in the year 2002, with BSc Computer Science course with an intake of 30 students. Gradually by the year 2011 the department blossomed with BCA course with an intake of 24 students. By the year of 2012, started the course MSc computer science with an intake of 12 students and the same batch passed out with University First rank and the following batches of both UG and PG also made us proud by achieving University ranks.

The department aims at implementing innovativeness and technical competence in the students and the courses emphasis on tools to develop software applications rapidly.

The department is also providing a wide range of hardware and software facilities for students and faculty members under different platform and processing environments.

The department gives equal emphasis on theory and practical for which we are equipped with 3 labs; a core lab, central lab and a PG lab to favor students to develop into a compassionate professionals, many of them are working with MNCs and reputed organizations both in India and abroad.

The department has conducted many intercollegiate seminars/workshops/training programs to make the students more career oriented and emotionally matured.

Every year apart from frequent number of workshops and seminars the department organizes industrial visits for the students to enrich them academically.
