LETTER WRITING COMPETITION

In order to know the aspirations of students about the campus, the PG Department of English conducted a letter wtiting competition on the topic "My Dream College".

BOOK REVIEW COMPETITION

Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man; - Francis Bacon

In order to enhance the reading and writing skills of students a book review competition was conducted and Shahdha M from S2 BCA, Farhath Nasrin from S2 MA English and Fousiya P S from S5 BA English bagged first, second andthird prizes respectively.

JINGLE TREAT: CAKE MAKING VIDEO CONTEST

X- Mas is the time when we share our love and compassion along with delicious cake. As we find it is important to inculcate secular feeling among students, the college pays keen attention to celebrate religious festivals. 

SHORT STORY WRITING AND PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Winter season, the occasion of X- Mas fills our mind with so much joy and enthusiasm. There is chance to reflect on something we gaze upon every morning. The short story and photography competitions came out well success with lot of creative entries by the students.

ONLINE QUIZ COMPETITION ON POSTMODERNISM

Quiz competition on Postmodernism was conducted in order to assess the theoratical knowledge of Literatue students. Students secured above 80% marks were awarded online certificate.

ORUKKAM ORU ONLINE ONASADHYA; VIDEO CONTEST

As we couldn't gather at college and celebrate together during the pandemic situation the department conducted a cooking video contest of Onasadhya special dishes. It could create a mood of the festival and the competition was a grand success.

LET'S TALK ABOUT BOOKS; BOOK REVIEW VIDEO CONTEST

It was an event to talk about books. Students showed great interest in reflecting on the books they read and inspired them.

GREEN SELFIE CONTEST

The greener the setting, the more the relief ...It was during the pandemic situation the department decided to observe the World Environment Day in online mode. There were numerous photo entries by the students that proved their interest in nature conservation and planting saplings.
