EACH ONE- TEACH ONE

2019-2020

The Post Graduate Department of English has initiated ‘Each One- Teach One’, an extension activity in the academic year 2019-20. Student volunteers identified housewives/domestic helps in their neighbourhood, who is under educated. 

The aim of the activity was to help them identify basic English phrases and usages used in filling out forms, bank chalans, basic requests to Panchayats and Village offices etc. They also train them in using basic social media tools/platforms, teach them to create their own Google account or FB account. And also help them in creating and uploading simple videos on YouTube, create their own channel etc.

From their neighbourhood and localities they have successfully identified and selected candidates for this project. Our volunteers have interacted with them and understood their needs. In the next phase, this programme will hopefully have attained its objective.
