INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT KODAIKANAL

The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu organized an industrial visit for the S4 B.Com Finance,CA  and BBA students on 11th December 2025. The visit included a trip to Kodaikanal, providing students with an opportunity to explore practical insights related to industry exposure while also enjoying an educational and memorable travel experience. This visit helped students connect classroom learning with real-world applications and strengthened their understanding of commerce and management practices.

 


Field Visit at KSE.Irinjalakuda

The students of First Year B.Com Finance and First Year BBA from Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, under the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, visited KSE,Irinjalakkuda as part of their industrial visit program held on 4th November 2025. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and management practices. During the session, the officials at KSE explained the various stages of production, packaging, and quality control. The visit enabled the students to relate their theoretical knowledge with real-world business applications.



Industrial Visit at Radiant Mould & Compounds Pvt. Ltd., Kozhikode

The students of First Year B.Com Cooperation from Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, under the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, visited Radiant Mould & Compounds Pvt. Ltd., Kozhikode as part of their industrial visit held on 4th November 2025. The main objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure and a better understanding of industrial production and management processes. During the session, the officials at Radiant Mould explained the various stages of manufacturing, quality control, and product distribution. The visit offered valuable insights into how the company operates efficiently, blending modern technology with skilled workmanship.

 


Industrial Visit to SIDCO Industrial Estates: Enhancing Practical Knowledge

The students of First Year B.Com Taxation and First Year BBA from Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, under the PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, visited SIDCO Industrial Estates as part of their industrial visit program held on 4th November 2025. The purpose of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to industrial operations and management practices. During the session, the officials at SIDCO explained the various stages of production, packaging, and quality control, and also shared insights into how small and medium-scale industries function within the estate. The visit enabled the students to relate their theoretical knowledge with real-world business applications.

 


 Ideathon 2K25

The inter-college Ideathon held on November 19 brought together talented students from various institutions, creating a vibrant platform for innovative thinking and creative problem-solving. Participants showcased impactful ideas and developed practical solutions to real-world challenges through teamwork, creativity, and critical analysis. The event successfully encouraged young minds to think beyond boundaries, strengthened their confidence in presenting ideas, and inspired them to convert their concepts into meaningful and implementable initiatives

 

 


DREAM TO DEAL:EXPO 2K25

The expo showcased a vibrant collection of student-led and local entrepreneurial products, held across the college auditorium and various classrooms to provide an engaging and lively atmosphere for all participants. The exhibition featured an impressive range of handcrafted jewellery, fashion accessories, henna art, homemade delicacies, wellness products, customised artwork, and innovative lifestyle items. It brought together a diverse group of participants, including current college students, enthusiastic alumni, talented special school students, and emerging entrepreneurs, creating a rich platform for creativity, collaboration, and real-time business learning under the spirit of Aurora 2.0.

 

 


National Entrepreneurs Day Observance and Entrepreneurs Meet

The event brought together inspiring entrepreneurs in celebration of National Entrepreneurs Day, offering students a unique opportunity to hear real-life success stories and innovative journeys. The session was inaugurated by Ms. Deeja S., State Award Winner and Founder of Nymithra Foods Pvt. Ltd., followed by enriching insights from Ms. Geetha Saleesh, Mr. Mirshad K.M., Ms. Diji K.N., and Mr. Ramesh A.V., who shared their diverse entrepreneurial experiences. A part of the programme, including the exhibition, was also conducted in the college auditorium, adding greater engagement and interaction to the event. Many students and entrepreneurs were honoured for their remarkable achievements, making the occasion a truly motivating platform that encouraged innovation, creativity, and visionary thinking among all participants.

 


Intercollegiate seminar titled Mastering Amazon Entrepreneurship

The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies is organizing an intercollegiate seminar titled Mastering Amazon Entrepreneurship, featuring technopreneur Mr. Bineesh M as the resource person. The session will be held on 17 November 2025 at 10 a.m. in the AV Lab of AWTC, offering students valuable insights into modern digital business opportunities and practical strategies for building successful ventures on Amazon.

 


Workshop on AI in Advertising titled “Mastering the Future of Ad Tech.

The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies at Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, is organizing an Intercollegiate Workshop on AI in Advertising titled “Mastering the Future of Ad Tech.” The session will be led by Mr. Favour Francis, a renowned brand consultant, creative trainer, and the founder and creative director of OBW India. The workshop aims to provide students with insights into the transformative role of artificial intelligence in modern advertising, helping them understand emerging trends and innovative strategies shaping the future of ad technology.


AURORA 2.0 is a one-week National Entrepreneurship Observance Program 

AURORA 2.0 is a one-week National Entrepreneurship Observance Program organized by the PG Department of Commerce & Management Studies in collaboration with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC), featuring expert-led sessions, theme-based workshops, and interactive events that inspire students, build entrepreneurial skills, and provide hands-on exposure to innovation and enterprise development.

 


Inuaguration of Commerce and Management Assosciation and workshop on “AI & Augmented Reality Learning”

The PG Department of Commerce and Management Studies, Ansar Women’s College, Perumpilavu, inaugurated the Commerce and Management Association with an insightful workshop on “AI & Augmented Reality Learning” on 13th November 2025. The session was led by Mr. Fazil Bappu, Academician and Research Scholar at MG University, who shared valuable perspectives on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality in modern education. The workshop provided students with practical insights into emerging technologies and their applications in the commerce and management sectors. The event, held at the college auditorium, marked a promising start to the academic activities of the association for the year.

The P.G. Department of Commerce and Management Studies successfully organized an Entrepreneurs Meet, AURORA, aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students and aspiring business leaders. How to become a super student

The P.G. Department of Commerce and Management Studies conducted a talk on “How to become a super student” for all the first-year students of B.Com. and B.B.A. The elucidate programme was held on 23rd February, 2021 in the college Auditorium from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.The session was handled by Dr. Salil Hassan, Principal of Ansar English School.In collaboration with Research promotion cell, we had conducted a National Webinar on 25 th August 2020 on the Topic ‘Research – An Insight into the Concept and Methodology. And the session was handled by Mr. Sijo Jacob V, Assistant Professor, St. Thomas College, Thrissur, Autonomous
